Esther Sim LLB Hon.

Esther is the Counsel and Advisor of the Luk Real Estate Group. Esther’s experience in real estate industry extends to commercial, development, construction, hospitality, private equity, asset management, and is experienced in managing all aspects of the fund lifecycle, including fund formation, acquisitions, debt financing, joint ventures, portfolio management and exits. Esther has personally been involved in closing up to $2 billion in a closed ended fund for a global investment firm and one of the world’s largest commercial real estate group.

Throughout her career, Esther has enjoyed a high level of responsibility and has provided advice and assistance across multiple areas of law, business and finance. Esther has personally acted for major developers, hoteliers, investment firms and is therefore experienced in understanding different parties’ needs.

With a Bachelor of Laws degree, several awards and over a decade of global perspective from working experience in Singapore, Canada, New York, Malaysia and New Zealand, Esther will provide valuable insight to the Luk Real Estate Group.

In her personal life, Esther is a voice and advocate for a non-profit organization – Watoto in Uganda – an organization that supports more than 4000 orphans and vulnerable women. Esther has led in sponsorship of children and assist with fundraising and setting up of healthcare for Watoto. Esther believes and fights for the voiceless and believes in equal opportunities. During her downtime, you can find Esther café hopping, on the search for a good flat white with oatmilk.
